Works as designed. I have had no problem using these to join mixed and matched sections of Peco, Walthers, and Atlas. I do always give them a very slight pinch to tighten them up before use. It helps considerably.

Atlas rail jointers August 23, 2017

Good price,  have bought several pacages of them. For the price when they get loose when building track I just replaced them to make sure they are tight, before soldering them.

You will use a lot of these when building a track layout, you will need to keep some on hand for changes as well. This is a good inexpensive product to use.

These work best May 12, 2016

I use these for code 83 track.  They are loose on my Peco code 83 turnouts but a squeeze from the pliers crimps them down a bit.  This is much easier than trying to force Peco code 83 joiners onto Atlas flextrack.  Cutting them apart with a sheet metal shear lets you get them as neat and short as possible.
