Although I have a few dozen 80 watt transformers that came with various "starter sets", I bought this unit after using it several times at M.B Klein's excellent showroom layout. The buttons give a solid feel when activated, and I especially like the ON/OFF SWITCH. There is more than enough power for running several Atlas Trolleys, all at the same time,or any small to medium train set. Everything that Atlas makes is good stuff!!!
