The Remote Signal Activator (Gate/Semaphore Actuator) can drive a second Cable and Actuator for applications such as crossing gates where 2 devices can be driven by one Tortoise.

Features

Mounting bracket and mechanism utilize the Tortoise (not included) and a special drive wire cable assembly to remotely actuate any crossing gate, train order or semaphore signal having a vertical control wire extending below the layout. Positive, adjustable stops are provided at both ends of travel.

You will need part 800-8101 as well if you want to run a set of crossing gates. Pity this wasn't included in the description as being in Oz you pack as much into an order as possible. Will have to wait until next order to finish install.

Great Semaphore Signla Operation	February 23, 2011

I used the Circuitron 8100 to activate a Tomar HO 854 Semaphore Signal, also from MTS. I've installed many Tortoise switch machines but this was my first experience using the 8100. The instructions are very complete and fairly easy to understand. The adjustments available on the 8100 enabled me to setup the semaphore signal so that it operates just like the big guys. The 8100 works super.
