For those that want to build a real downtown, Custom Model Railroad Kits are a must have. They are relatively easy to build; the parts fit precisely - just like the best German kits; and the results are impressive with fine detailling and scrollwork on vthe exterior. You can easily paint the window units to be different than the cwalls in any color you like for a handsome finished product. Expensive yes, but so is golf!

They're a bit pricey, but definitely fill an apparently huge hole in N scale pickings. I would've appreciated advance knowlege of the type of glue required to build it, (Plastruct Plastic Weld). And the add-on-kit, (I think) should've come with an additional spacer module to separate the two 4 story sections, like the one that separates the 2nd & third floors in this kit. Or possibly a straight window insert without arches that could be inserted in place of the original 3rd through 6th floors, and those respective floors installed on top so that the architecture flows like it was designed to be taller than the single kit. Other than that, it's a gorgeous building!
