I have purchase Athearn, Walthers, Kato, and Deluxe Innovations and so far I am most satisfied with Deluxe Innovations' Gunderson Maxi-Stack III 5-unit Articulated Car Set. This unit has a much more solid construction than Athearn and Kato units but still has a great amount of detail unlike the Walthers multi car sets
