For athern F59PHI April 30, 2014

Everything installed pretty easily., except for a milling to fit capacitor. You need Digitrax PR3, to install the EMD 710 Turbo, or equivalent. you also need to change CV29 to a value of 39, or which ever you prefer.

Don't Compromise - Wait for Something Better January 6, 2014
Reviewer: Scott Wendt from Minong, WI United States
Bought this decoder because my first choice was Out of Stock. Okay by itself, but doesn't play well with others. Consisting is difficult because the decoder resets the BEMF to factory default ON whenever the Command station breaker trips. Also, decoder effects settings don't always carry over when swithcing from one layout to another using NMRA standard Advanced Consisting. Decoder still does not auto select between 14 and 28/128 step (like other companies) and sometimes will only Advance Consist in 14 step! Then, when switching back to 128 the lights flash because the decoder does not have automatic step fill-in for any lighting effects!

Called Digitrax who told me all of this is on purpose and part of the design. So having to manually change CVs for the lights every time I move from the club to home or change a consist is a good thing?

Works great and the headlights are bright white which looks perfect for this loco. Looks great coming thru a  tunnel.
