1.) How often are orders printed?
Orders are printed and pulled once every morning on or about 9:00AM EST time. (Monday-Saturday)
2.) How do you calculate the cost of shipping? Shipping is automatically calculated for all shipments.We use published rates from UPS and USPS to determine the exact shipping cost.
3.) What are your UPS shipping policies?

United Parcel Service (UPS) Shipping Policy Details
(Applies to US domestic orders ONLY)
- Packages sent to the contiguous US are shipped via UPS Ground and UPS 2nd Day Air. If you require an order shipped UPS Next-Day Air, please call our shipping department to make the appropriate accommodations.
- Shipping train sets and other oddly shaped or oversize packages may incur an additional handling charge.
- If your order total is equal to or exceeds $700 a "Signature Required" service option will be added to your order. Additionally, customer orders that are under $700 can leave a note requesting this option on the checkout page.
- Maryland residents will be charged 6% state sales tax.
- Orders are shipped out on a daily basis, Monday-Friday.
- Log into your account to track your package on your account page once your order has shipped. If you did not create an account at the time of your order, you will not be able to track your package until the tracking information is sent to you via e-mail.

4.) What are your USPS shipping policies?
United States Postal Service (USPS) Shipping Costs And Policies
(Applies to International Orders, and orders shipped to US APO's and PO Boxes)
- Please to not ask us to misrepresent package contents or values on customs declaration forms.
- Shipping to Alaska & Hawaii or PO Boxes in the United States is shipped via USPS Priority Mail.
- International orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail International.
- Maryland residents add 6% sales tax.
- All shipments are insured for actual cost. We are not able to ship to countries that cannot be insured by USPS.
- We
reserve the right to not ship packages to any country or region for any
reason at our sole discretion. If your country is not in our list of
counties we ship to, please email us at support@modeltrainstuff.com to
put in a request to have your country added to our list.
