I bought this layout kit for my twelve year old grandson who is living in Germany. It was too large to be shipped to an APO address so I brought it with me as excess baggage. Most N-gauge products seem to be geared for ages 14+, but my grandson is a mature twelve and has been able to handle the construction and follow the detailed instructions. The 44 page manual is easy to follow and gives many helpful tips. I printed a copy and mailed it ahead so when I arrived my grandson was eager to get started. At this point we are about ten days into the project and have almost completed laying the plaster cloth. Ten days that also revolved around school, scouts and sports, so I'm quite pleased with the progress. I've been keeping a photographic record of the project and can post if ModelTrainStuff is interested. I highly recommend this product. Woodland Scenics has an excellent line of products to facilitate the completion of this kit. I look forward to seeing the finished product.

Everything was as advertised. It came on time. I will be buying most of my needs from this company and will tell other modelers about them. I have only one request and that would be online listings of DC and DCC products would be separated, this would allow us DCC buyers a quicker access to what were looking for.
