This makes life so much better it takes all the guess work out and is so easy to use. When used with other woodlands products it looks great. Top gear

Makes layouts easy

If you are just getting into model trains, or do not have the expensive tools, or a significant other that will flip out when she sees all the dust from your construction project, this stuff is for you! I have never built a layout before, and by using the woodland scenics sub-terrain system, I was able to go from nothing, to track down and elevations set in one day (N scale layout 3.5' x 6'). This is the simplest system out there, and requires only a modest investment in tools (as low as $30). I highly recommend this product for both the experienced modeler and the beginner alike.
