Rigid versatile foam sheets June 18, 2016
Reviewer: Obleo from Illinois, United States
This stuff is harder and stronger than most other free packing foam.

It easy to cut with a foam knife blade and works well for terrain building.

I like using it because it easy to cut and less messy than insulation foam. Plus the sheets are only 12'' x 24'' x 1/2'' so there easy to store in a smaller space until you need to use them.

cutting foam March 2, 2013
Reviewer: Richard from Maine
I use an old sharp serated bread knife to cut about half way thru and then break the pieces apart. be careful bread knives are sharper than they look.

Works for small projects December 15, 2009
Reviewer: John Oliver from Baltimore, MD United States
For the price, you could use other foam insulation products from Michaels, however, you would likely have a ton of waste.  I recommend using a very sharp blade when cutting this material, preferentially a hot wire foam cutter should be used.  Otherwise, it is a good product and works well with other woodland scenics products.  Sheets measure 12" x 24".
