If you want to max out your power potential, the 400-watt Z-4000 is the most powerful transformer to receive the UL-Listing for the model railroading hobby. The Z-4000 has two separate throttles to let you power two different tracks, and it has two fixed power outputs you can use for operating accessories. A single Z-4000 will power a lot of layout!

In O gauge layouts, use the Twin to control direction on uncomplicated double track layouts. In this situation, do not use the reverse button on the transformer since this action is controlled by the switches on the Twin. Actual color of production item is Dark Blue.

HD Selector - One of the mainstays of conventional layout control, this component enables the operation and control of two trains at the same time when they are running conventionally. Has four single-pole, double-throw switches that allow two-cab operation of four blocks. Can also be used as area selectors for four-cab operation. New heavy duty design compatible with higher amperage AC/DC command control systems and all large-scale trains. May be ganged together in any number to control additional blocks as required. Useful as a Yard Selector. The package comes with a diagram to show wiring for 2 Transformer control of 2 different blocks. There is also a diagram showing wiring for a yard selector set up.
