Inside this busy operation, rough-cut timbers are run through planners and emerge as standard sized lumber. Found alongside saw mills like the Mountain Lumber Co. (933-3058) and industries like Hardwood Furniture (933-3044), both sold separately, Planning Mills are also operated as independent companies. The finished model makes a neat addition to any setting and fits in virtually any modeling era. The kit includes the two-story Main Building with board and batten siding, a modern Sawdust Collector with blower and storage bin, plus an outdoor Drying and Storage Shed where the finished products are allowed to air dry before being loaded for shipment by rail or truck.
