This is one great engine. Super detailing, great lighting and ultra smooth operation. I will give this the ultimate endorsement - Kato would be proud.

This is a very nice locomotive and runs smoothly after a period of running in. The details are clean and crisp. If you wish to convert from Rapido to micro trains couplers this is easy and trouble free however the cars that these engines run ahead of are the Bachmann Budd Amfleet cars have a swing coupler mount that attaches to the bolster so when converting these cars you will need to attach to the body. The HHP 8 and the budd amfleet cars look good together and run well with the rapido couplers do the choice is yours.
