Description Technical Specs   Replaces the 9 volt rechargeable battery in MTH Proto Sound and many Proto Sound 2 locomotives (9 volt style). This permanent replacement allows the operator to charge the BCR in about 1 minute, while the locomotive is in standby mode. After the initial charge period, operate the locomotive as usual.  No more dead batteries. No more charging batteries for hours. The BCR holds its charge for 2-3 hours. Store your engines and not worry about a dead battery.   Features This device allows you to store or display your engines and never need to charge your battery to operate them. After one minute of applying power, at 10 volts or more, to charge the BCR, the engine will fully operate. No longer do you have to remove the shell and replace the battery or be concerned about the battery leaking and damaging your engine. The BCR can be left in the engine indefinitely.
