This permanent replacement allows the operator to charge the BCR in 1 minute, while the locomotive is in standby mode. After the initial charge period, operate the locomotive as usual.  No more dead batteries. No more charging batteries for hours. The BCR holds its charge for 2-3 hours. Store your engines and not worry about a dead battery.   Features The BCR 2 is a permanent replacement for the battery and plugs into the battery connector. Power up your engine in neutral, at ten volts or more for one minute, and the engine will be ready to run, regardless of how long the engine has been sitting.
