I had this unit when it first came on the market a few years ago. I don't have it any longer. If you're willing to fiddle and fuss with it, it's great. It works well, it's v-e-r-y sensitive to the trains rolling over the sensors and will react EXACTLY as it should. However. The ribbon cables are finicky. The connections MUST be IMMACULATE; they will NOT tolerate ANY dirt or dust, on the cables, and very little on the rails. Keep RF Interference away from the control box. DON'T let power distribution lines cross the ribbon cable OR the sensor lines. Dress your lines carefully but GENTLY. No kinks in the sensor cables, either; straighten them out with loving care and kindness. If you double-track your mainline, FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS E-X-A-C-T-L-Y. But; if you follow ALL of it's little idiosyncracies, it will do a very nice job for you. In that case, it's worth what Klein sells it for. But I wouldn't pay MSRP retail.
