Description   This 40’ outside braced box car with single door and freight load is painted box car red with CV “wet noodle” logo, large “Central Vermont,” and lettering, all in white. The car was built in December 1924 and serviced in June 1964. It runs on black Andrews trucks. In June 1964, paint schemes on the Central Vermont were simple and generally followed Canadian National lettering styles. After 1960, the CV “wet noodle” was applied to the doors of some box cars.
