Description   This 50’ steel side 15-panel gondola with fixed ends is painted Whitman green with white lettering and runs on black Barberฎ roller bearing trucks. Built by Ortner Freight Car Company in August of 1979, #12447 was added to this series of 100 cars that originally consisted of Thrall cars built in 1967. These cars were used for general service duties and features included steel floors and fixed ends.
