Description   This heavyweight depressed-center flat car with covered military load is painted Navy gray with black stenciling. It was serviced in March 1985 and runs on black Buckeye trucks. In the mid-1970s, the Department of Defense acquired 23 depressed-center flat cars and renumbered them into series 39810-39832. These cars are equipped with a permanently applied container and framework as an enclosure for the freight. All 23 cars remain in service today.
