Bachmann HO 45141 Supermarket Snap Kit

By using white paint and cutting the logo off a Publix Supermarket gift card holder, I turned my kit into a pandemic tableaux, with Preiser and Woodland figures.And I still have the $1.00 value on the card to get a deli sub sandwich!

I appreciate these simple kits; designed originally in the 1950s, as their styling suits certain classic motifs. I painted my kit white and used a Publix logo from a gift card holder. Preiser and Woodland figures complete the pandemic tableau.

These Plasticville simple structures kits are some of the few circa 1950-1960. I turned my purchase into a Publix Store by painting the building and cutting up a Publix gift card holder for the logo. It cost me $1.00 to buy the card; and I still have the value on the card to put towards a Deli chicken sub sandwich!!
