Description

The Northern Central Railway name dates from 1854. In 1861 the Pennsylvania Railroad acquired a controlling interest in the NCR. The NCR had many locomotives that were near-duplicates of #17. Most commonly the company used the abbreviation NCRW or NCRy as opposed to "RR". This model is decorated for the full-sized replica of a Civil War-era steam locomotive that was built for and delivered to the Steam into History tourist operation in York, County PA in 2013. The Bachmann model allows you to enjoy the rich history of the line as well as remembering a pleasant ride on the current steam operation.

All new tooling. Our DCC sound-equipped 4-4-0 includes our Sound Value SoundTraxx steam sound package with authentic prototypical chuff, short and long whistles, bell, air pump, steam release and blowerall in 16-bit polyphonic sound. With wood load.

Performs best on 18" radius curves or greater.
