Circuitron 800-6000 The Tortoise Switch Machine

These machines are great. Easy to install. Makes atlas switches look realistic.

These are a breeze to install and work very well. I use a RailPro system so the communications back from the tortoise allows my handheld controller to show the turnout’s position on the screen. They make a slight noise, but not very noticeable. I have 43 installed on my layout and have never had a problem.

I haven't received it yet, I returned the wrong one, they said they would send the correct one.....still waiting

Order easy to place and received correct. It took longer than usual, presumably due to COVID. Modeltrainstuff is one of my favorite suppliers.

These Tortoise switch machines are a bit pricey but worth it. I have not had any issues with the two I have installed so far. I had to replace my actuator wire with a thicker piece of piano wire since the base of the Tortoise was installed 4 below the turnout. Works fine.
