Peco HO SLE8351 Code 83 Track Electrofrog #5 Turnout Right Hand

I used Peco on my new layout with both Micro Engineering and Peco flex track. Peco rail joiners work equally well with both. The undercut plates and spikes allow perfect installation of rail joiners without cutting back ties. I particularly like the snap action of the points when actuated manually as I do not need active ground throws to hold the points in place. The point pivots are the best design I have seen.

Peco turnouts are the best. Points are spring loaded so you dont HAVE to install a switch machine. Well engineered, and always in gauge, they work very well and are worth the investment!

Peco track is the only track I use on my model railroad. Excellent quality and design.

This is a good start for PECO HO code 83 Turnouts. However I needed to spend too much time on the Short-circuit condition caused by a Live FROG! I even placed Atlas plastic isolators to rectify the short-circut caused when I attempted to run straight across the Right Turnout. The purpose of using Ready-To-Use sectional Switches by Atlas or Peco. Is to save time over hand laying a Turnout from scratch! To sum it up I prefer insulated Frogs! Tony
