Woodland Scenics HO A1826 City Workers

Populating our HO scale worlds can be an amusing task. I look for the usua and the typical, and sprinkle in some non-typical tiny peoples to complement the structures, and to portray some sort of realism to the scene. Woodland Scenics has a nice catalog full of American / western clothed figures; as compared to the more European dress of Preisers figures. The WS brand also has an assortment of motorized equipment that lends itself to the more classic / transitional times that HO scale models often show. I try to avoid the use of figures in running poses ; as I personally feel that it doesnt look correct when viewed by the eye. When used as a setting for a still photograph, we can get away with the running pose, as humans are conditioned to accept frozen moments when looking at a photograph.

These city workers will fit fine into my layout of my home town prototypical layout. Uniforms may be a bit different but will certainly work for me.
