Atlas HO 70000037 Decorated Plate Girder Bridge with Code 100 Track, Canadian National

I bought two of these and the lettering on both was carelessly applied, tilted, so that instead of lining up with the strong horizontal lines of the bridge the lettering was (too) obviously miss-applied, starting centered on left but then slanted down low on the right. Both sides have the identical problem, as do both bridges that I purchased. It's obviously a fixturing problem that Atlas didn't bother to correct. I expect the only thing for me to do is remove the lettering or simply repaint the bridges. The code 100 rail is very securely held by the plastic. I was hoping to be able to slide the 100 out so I could replace it with 83 but that's not happening. That's not really an issue, I can live with the code 100, but I can't live with the careless lettering, it just stands out too clearly not to be instantly noticeable.
