Atlas Z 2813 Code 55 Track, 19 Degree Crossing

As is typical with any Z scale track, the layout must be precise. These sections must lay on a perfectly flat base. If not, the loco wheels will lift losing contact as they cross the plastic guides. They do work, but much patience must be used when setting them. I have a cork base glued to 1/8" plywood. The track is then laid in a light bed of glue. I have two crossings and reset one twice. Then the second one worked first time. This is after all.....Z scale. :)
