Bachmann HO 44561 NS EZ Track Remote Left Hand Switch

I purchased quite a few of these for a large layout. Some work OK others not so well. When trying to switch off the main line onto a spur or siding the locomotive wants to keep going straight. It seems that the point just doesn't hug the rail tight enough. I'm trying to decide if I need to bite the bullet on the hundreds of dollars I spent purchasing these and replace them with a competitors whose design actually has notches for the points to fit into in order to avoid this problem. Had the same problem with the Right Hand Switches as well. You should also know that I purchased some of the DCC versions of both the left hand and right hand turnouts and have experienced the same flaw. For the price of these turnouts you would think that they would be a better design. Extremely disappointed.

I can always count on EZ track. I have a 120ft double track mainline run and use EZ track for all of it. Great product!
