In 30yrs of Model Railroading, the Tortise is my switch machine of choice, I've tried a few ,but for reliability and features, it's the best. Great price and quick sevice from Model Train Stuff.
I got these for my first ceiling mounted layout. They are easy to wire-up and are **very** quiet in operation. Coming from a 26 year radio contol aircraft addiction, I am very familiar with servos and operation thereof. These are very powerful! I am not sure of the torque, but it must be high to be sure. I could not force these while powered from the set position. They work very well with an NCE Switch-8 and I could not be happier.
MTS had the order processed in one day and the shipping from UPS took four days. Not bad coming from MD to TX. I have placed several orders with MTS over the past three months and am very happy with the service I have received.
