    Digitrax decoders work great!

Posted by Tom H. on Jun 29th 2018

I began installing decoders in my locomotive fleet using NEC decoders (initially a 10-pack). However, once I started using Digitrax decoders, there was no going back to NEC. I find Digitrax decoders (I have installed Z, N and HO styles) to be easier to install and wire primarily due to their use of plug-in harnesses to the decoder (the NEC decoder's wires seem to easily break when handling and are just fragile) and I like the fact that Digitrax covers their decoders in shrinkwrap. I have had less issues programming the configuration of the Digitrax decoders, as well. I heartily recommended them!!
