    My Go To Decoder!

Posted by Richard Wolfe on Apr 14th 2019

This was the first Decoder I ever installed in N-Scale. It is not a drop in but worth the work. Very impressed how well my older Atlas GP-11 runs on DCC. I tried a TCS split board in another loco after this but found I had to do just as much grinding to make it fit. Same amount of Soldering too. Save $20 and by this Decoder!

    My GoTo decoder

Posted by Douglas Nicholls on Nov 26th 2018

Although the 126T is a bit narrower, this is the same length and costs less. I've used it in dozens of conversions and it's simple and reliable. I actually prefer it to the so-called drop ins which often need far more fettling to fit. One will fit in the Minitrix 51 2913 00 0-6-0 steamer, which is probably my smallest install (but not the most difficult. ) Great product!

    Excellent decoder

Posted by Vineet Bhalla on Jun 29th 2018

This is an excellent decoder both for the American and European locomotives. Slow speed running is superb ( loaded or unloaded with rolling stock) with no change in loco speed on flat track as well as climb while pulling 12 x four axle wagons. Used them on Bachman GP40, GP50, Flying Scotsman.

Over the last few years I have purchased a number of these DCC decoders and all (self installed) are operating flawlessly.
