I use these couplers to replace my Athearn horn hook couplers to bring them up to NMRA compliance. They work great and hold good on grades and keep the cars distant just enough to navigate tight turns in yards, etc.

These couplers are very reliable and work with all the uncoupling magnets on my layout. Any new rolling stock that I get that does not have gets them before going into service.
