Kato HO 3-105 HM1 R670mm Basic Track Oval with Power Pack SX

I am enjoying this, Im able to run all my models on it and they run smooth. I prefer this over Bachmann for the ease of connecting track

The HM1 starter set is a great kit with a large amount of very high quality track and a nice SX power pack. Overall I really love the setup for the price but there is one thing that is worth mentioning, and that is the included Kato SX power pack is a pulse type (PWM) which means that DCC locomotives will not work with this power pack. FYI for pure DC locomotive operation, this newer style of controller is much smoother and is an upgrade from the older packs.

Easily expandable. Great starter track.

I ordered an HM1 track set. When I got the set I noticed on the back of the box a description of many other sets. Had I been aware of these sets I would have purchased a different set for more money than I paid for the HM1 set. Your web site should have included these options when the HM1 set was displayed. If it had, I would have bought a more expensive set and you would have made more money and would have a happier customer.
