    smoother track

Posted by john spicer on Sep 29th 2019

If you are laying out a long stretch of straights, it's smoother to go with the 30 than 3 tens. Tens have a tendency to attach with a ridge or bump where the rails meet causing that clacking sound when the rolling stock cross it. With only two connection points, the top and bottom of the track, you have 29 15/16 inches of fully connected rail with no bumps. Smoother.

    Tracks are Good But...

Posted by Bill on Jun 29th 2018

they are good, but very noisy. I like the older, all metal kind better, as you could hear the train wheels move through the tracks and enjoy that realism a bit better.
