Built in the late-1970s for the National Railroad of Mexico, these sliding door boxcars were later obtained by and patched for Ferromex ownership. Ferrocarril Mexicano, or Ferromex, is a privately owned rail service that operates over 7,500 miles of track across Mexico, and interchanges with several U.S. Railroads.
