MTH O 40-1000 Z-1000 Transformer

I bought two Z-1000s to replace my ZW. Its nice having a bell and horn/whistle buttons that don't speed up or slow down trains when you push a button, There is ample power for the size layout and engine requirements I now have. The zw wil lbe relegated to operating various accessories on the layout. MTH you hit the mark again. Thanks

I received the item in perfect condition and well packed. It was very easy to hook up to my existing layout and start using. It was nice to have the separate buttons for the Bell and Whistle, no extra wiring or switches needed. It only runs one train but also has plenty of power for accessories.I am very satisfied with it and would recommend it to anyone needing an extra transformer.

Excellent product

I recently dived into O scale and needed something quick and easy to power my track. This MTH transformer was just what I needed. It was easy to setup and straightforward to use. Most importantly, it supplied enough power to my temporary 4x8 oval of track. I'm very happy with this product and recommend it to anyone starting out in O-scale like me.
