Rix Products HO 628-0510 All-American Blue Silo Co. Kit

Good facsimile of the very popular Harvestore brand silo, seen from at least the mid 60's to today. This kit is a little shorter than the most common height in the area of Illinois where I grew up, but still tall enough to be believable. You will need to supply your own access ladder such as Walthers Cornerstone HO 933-3515. Colors are pretty close to prototype; just need matte white topcoat for the cap and matte blue for the cylindrical section, perhaps a shade or two lighter.

Well engineered kit that builds easily; just needs a little paint matching the colors it is molded in. Only knock is this silo is only about half the height I am used to seeing on dairy farms in the midwest.
