Seasonal Warehouse Fulfillment Associate

Job Overview

The Warehouse Fulfillment Associate will work in Shipping, Picking, or a combination of both. Of which they are responsible for correctly packing, shipping, picking, and completing quality control for either respective role.

Responsibilities and Duties

Work within our fulfillment department to

Complete all actions in compliance with established procedures and quotas.
Use the electronic scan-gun to scan orders and pick merchandise.
Pull/pick orders in preparation for packaging to ship and verify correctness.
Package orders for shipment properly and process shipping labels.
Prevent order errors by reviewing for accuracy and maintain orders and shipments in a neat, orderly, and safe manner throughout the entire fulfillment process.
Communicate with appropriate teams regarding order fulfillment or shipment delays and/or errors.
Be a champion of M.B. Klein inside and outside of the store.
Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

No experience necessary, will train.
Proficiency with computers or the ability to learn and use Inventory and/or Shipping software is required.
Exposure or experience in shipping and/or pick orders for a shop/warehouse is a plus
The ideal candidate will possess a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Conscientious, organized, and detail-oriented. With the ability to notice and pick out discrepancies and double-check.
The ideal candidate will have a collaborative attitude and will work well both in the team environment as well as independently.
Knowledge of SkuVault, ShipStation, or inventory control or shipping software is a plus.
Reliable transportation or access to public transportation

Physical Requirements

Ability to read and match alpha-numeric strings with accuracy and read small print on products for verification.
Able to lift or help lift heavy boxes. You'll mostly be handling smaller packages under 20 lbs. but will occasionally be asked to help with heavier packages that could weight 50+ lbs.
The person in this position must be able to stand for 6+ hours with or without accommodation.
The person in this position must be able to bend, reach and crouch for 6+ hours with or without accommodation.

Work Environment

Tasks are regularly performed in a combination of office, warehouse, and shop space and is regularly exposed to dust, odors, fumes, and noise. Occasionally, this role will perform work in an outdoor environment.

Additionally, at this time we continue to require that face masks be worn at all times regardless of vaccination status.

Eligibility for Hire

All roles must pass a background check and may be drug tested. As well as meeting or being able to meet all requirements and qualifications.

Schedule and Definition of Seasonal Employment

This role is to fill additional positions required to meet holiday demands during peak months. Seasonal Employees may be asked to work additional hours and shifts. Additionally, may also be offered to extend their employment beyond Jan./Feb. or offered to become a Full-Time employee.

At this time we are hiring for: Oct. through Jan. and Nov. through Feb. for Fulfillment.

Available Shifts:
M-F - 7am-3pm or 9am-5pm
Additional hours or Scheduled Hours may also include Saturday 8-4
