Tichy Train Group N 2603 Telltales (2)

Tell tales were used to warn brakemen and others on top of cars of approaching low clearance conditions. They consisted of a set of ropes or chains hanging from a crossbar placed some distance before the hazard. Their era was 1900 to 1965, however some are still standing today.
